Our Team
DAvid LaMartina, CSCS
David is a technician, and a teacher: his experience with lifting began in high school, absorbing every bit of content he could. He began a physical therapy graduate program after undergrad, but realized quickly that as much as he loved the challenge that came with training, his skillset was more creative problem solving, and transitioned to a career in software development where his creative and logic oriented skillset can thrive.
Dave is seen as both intelligent and relentless in his training: his experience with both bodybuilding and powerlifting, while having a bit of physical therapy background, uniquely equips him to align with his clients goals and desires. He is remarkably skilled at making complex concepts very simple in application and execution.
As a coach, Dave seeks to not only provide instruction, but to pass on his love of the training process. He knows the life-altering effects it can have on a person’s life, and regardless of clients’ competitive goals, he wants them to get the same experience. Working with Dave, you’ll grow stronger and smarter with your own training, and you’ll get countless opportunities to break through physical and mental barriers.
Dani Lamartina, pt, dpt, cscs, ifbb pro, Elitefts columnist
Dani has a unique background as a clinician who has competed at the highest level in multiple sports, having done so in the midst of many trials. With years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, her involvement in iron sports quickly created her to be one of the most trusted names for rehab among injured iron sport athletes across the country. She earns her athletes trust with a deep understanding of what their goals are. As a result of her creative problem solving and clinical mindset blended with a love for training and obsession with learning, Dani is constantly finding ways to both push the envelope and seek longevity. Through her own injuries and medical issues, Dani has continued to not only return to competition in both bodybuilding and powerlifting, but to progress and perform at a higher level. Her ability to lateralize her clinical knowledge without being willing to sacrifice training has molded her to a niche clinician and coach obsessed with educating, empowering, and helping her clients reach higher for themselves than they thought possible as both athletes and people.
As a coach, Dani works with a multitude of clients for both training and rehab. From the general fitness enthusiast to some of the best powerlifters in the country, clients who thrive with Dani’s coaching style are the ones who desire a coach that stretches them as people, teaches them the why and how, and blends intelligent, hard training with the eye of a doctor of physical therapy. She especially loves working with people who feel their best might be behind them, because she loves the transformation that happens when they realize there’s “better” coming.
Whether your goals are bodybuilding, powerlifting, injury rehab, or general fitness looking to feel and move better, Dani will give you all she can to partner with you in creating a path for getting where it is you want to go.
